I’ve had two separate warranty repairs on my vehicle over the past two years, and both experiences were frustrating. Each time, it took over 8 months to get the repairs completed, and I had to escalate the issue to the service manager both times. The service advisor failed to return my calls and messages (around 10 calls each time over the 8-month periods), forcing me to visit the dealership in person to get updates. I bought a car recently it smelled like smoke. They did one treatment to fix the problem, but a few days it returned. We had an outside company. Try to remove the smell it lingers. My most recent service appointment ran long. They said I need a new tires and gave me a quote. I did not realize till I got home that the quote was much lower than what they actually charged.

My interaction with the service department on Sept. 10, 2024 was not what I expected. The service desk agent named Frank was cordial, polite and respectful. However I found the service technician rude and impatient and condescending. Likewise the service manager was patronizing and literally talked down to me. I’ve purchased three cars from Bowsers Chippewa over the years. It’s doubtful that I’ll return to buy another vehicle.

I have a 2019 Tucson with a bad engine but they have always fixed it (temporarily, as it breaks down on a regular basis) and provided me with a rental.

Folks and service are great but the new remodeled layout has tons of problems. From open sewage grates right below drivers’ doors where it would be too easy to drop your keys into the sewer to too many blind narrow lanes. This does not include way too many sharp corners where I’ve already cut myself. I asked the sales manager about why they needed to charge a $355 fee for a safety inspection when the car was getting a PA state inspection { which it passed) and the high $349 doc fee. He was very rude and commented to the finance person "Do we even want to do this deal?" Long time Bowser Hyundai customer, first time SUV buyer. Tom Hammer, Sales Consultant Extraordinaire, patiently answered all my questions before and after my purchase and explained how everything works. Melissa, Finance Manager, and Barb and Mike in the Service Department were also very helpful.
I made an appointment a few weeks ago made sure to ask them if they had the part that I needed for my recall and when I got. There I sat for an hour for them to tell me that they didn't have the part and they would call me when it came in. Communication is horrible with them. My time is just as valuable as thiers but that's not how they see it.
Ashley T. (sales )was professional, patient and informative. Allowed us to test drive the Hybrid Santa Fe and SW model to compare engines and pick up. She also provided us with the break down of costs and financing and payments. Allowing us to discuss privately we came to a decision and proficiently had the manager run the numbers and application. All the personnel involved were very efficient and professional. Very easy to deal with.

Since I bought my car I have had it there to check the noise I heard coming from my dashboard/engine. When I told them I thought it was the actuator they looked at me like I had 4 heads. Said they found nothing wrong. I told them it happens when the car is first started and will make the noise until it warms up. So they told me back in Nov that I can leave it over night but they don't have a loaner car and will call me when they have one,. It is now June. I have ...
Excellent buying experience, no push to close a deal, Mike took hours with us test driving several vehicles. Brian in service has always taken great care of us, in fact he was the main reason that we decided to buy our new Hyundai's at Bowser. We got a good deal on both new cars, we were treated very well. During my car hunting, we visited several dealerships, Bowser Hyunda is the only one I would recommend to anyone. At other dealers we felt that we were almost held captive. I think everyone at Bowser feels confident in the Autos that they sell and their process in dealing with customers.
